Life on the Edge
In 1854, John Snow proved cholera spread through water rather than air by mapping disease data. Today, we're building the map for every disease.Distributed. Private. Powerful.

Data
Every person is different and has their own medical history, offering unique data points and potential insight.Users scan their lab results, images, and other patient records from a mobile app. The app also captures heart-rate, sleep, and other health metrics passively in the background.Data is encrypted and never leaves the device.
Coding and Scripting
Researchers design studies which analyze individual medical records. The analysis summarizes and returns results that are of interest to the researcher.Studies are distributed to millions of users to be executed on-device. Only anonymous statistical results are shared, never personal data.

Earn While Contributing to Science
Researchers offer bounties for running health analysis scripts. Users run analysis scripts using their private health data to earn rewards.Rather than sell medical records, users sell computation on their medical records. This avoids ethical dilemmas, privacy violations, and risk of abuse from insurance providers.
Architected for Privacy
Collecting and centralizing patient health data introduces security vulnerabilities which jeopardize patient privacy.Instead, Snow decentralizes both the health data and the computations on health data. Data never leaves the individual device.Researchers gain full access to large-scale patient health history but in a way that doesn't violate the privacy of those patients.

The Future of Medical Research
We can make a healthier society. We can earn money for doing so. We can do so in a privacy-preserving way.All it takes is a cell phone.
